Our route continues to the Bazurto Popular Market, where you will live the culture through the eyes of the fishermen, the vendors of fruits, herbs and vegetables. Discover a variety of foods with their properties and uses, and finally know the traditional recipes of popular restaurants before lunch time.

Once you have experienced the market and made your purchases, we will go to the house called «El Sueño» in the village of Manzanillo del Mar, just 20 minutes from the city, and between mojitos, wine, seafood and fresh vegetables, will enjoy a creative cooking session prepared in front the Caribbean Sea.


is the creative director of  Bazurto Social  Tours and owner of Restaurant La Cevicheria And Bazurto Social Club (Bar – restaurant) located in Cartagena de Indias.

He began his career  as a chef at several restaurants in the Balearic Islands ( Spain) , especially on the island of Menorca where he took on the responsibility of a seaside restaurant for several years. On his return to Colombia, he  began as an importer nationwide fishing products, which allowed him to travel around the country and cook in homes of peasants and villagers, combining seafood products harvested fruits and vegetables.

BAZURTO SOCIAL TOURS  began five years ago, after participating in the program NO RESERVATIONS (chapter Colombia) of the Travel Channel,  in which Jorge Escandon was the main Hostess of the renowned chef  Anthony Bourdain.
